Hi!

I'm a freelance editor and mother of two sons who is passionate about Lebanon schools. My family and I moved here to stay six years ago, after having lived around the country and in the Middle East. My husband, Matt, is Director of Telepharmacy at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and an entrepreneur. We love living in Lebanon! Our boys have quickly embraced New Hampshire, and their school experiences have been top-notch. I am grateful we have landed here in such a welcoming, unique community.

More of my story...

I have been involved in education volunteerism in every place we've lived, serving in numerous PTOs, district committees, and community education initiatives. As a former educator, I know how crucial excellent schools are for our children's futures, and I believe outstanding schools need to reflect the values of the community around them. One benefit of having lived around the country and the world is that I have been able to see education in many contexts: public, private, traditional, unconventional, Western, and international. I could parrot a lot of national talking points about what works best for schools, but really what I want to do is focus on improving our specific school district, on working with our parents, our teachers, and our administration to solve problems in creative ways that work for our specific community. I am a staunch supporter of schools and an advocate for taking what is working for our students and improving upon it, making the schools of our future better than the schools of today. I am enthusiastically running for Lebanon School Board during these challenging times because I care about our kids, our schools, and our town.
